    • Completes housekeeping and laundry functions in both residents’ rooms and apartments as well as the common areas of the community.
    • Maintains a clean, safe, comfortable, and attractive area for our residents and guests.
    • Launders, moves, folds, hangs and prepares clothes for transport, coordinating with Nursing Service on distribution ensuring that established Infection Control practices and safety precautions are followed at all times.
    • Sorts clothes by unit, making sure that all residents clothes are clearly marked and/or identified. Makes sure residents’ property is returned.
    • Keeps track of personal laundry poundage and charges accordingly.
    • Picks-up and distributes residents’ personal laundry.
    • Provides outstanding customer service to all customers in accordance with our overall philosophy of Person Centered Care.


    • Previous housekeeping experience (in-home, hotel, healthcare) preferred
    • Previous experience demonstrating excellent customer service preferred
    • Must be a minimum of (18) years of age
    • Ability to read and write at an 8th grade reading level required
    • Must be able to understand the English language and speak the language in an understandable manner
    • Must be able to push, pull, lift 50 lbs. regularly and occasionally push up to 150 lbs. and move equipment, supplies, etc., throughout the work day
