ECH Retirement Community sits on a 22 acre campus on Westport Road in Louisville and includes the Dudley Square Patio Homes, personal care and skilled nursing rooms, and the Memory Care Center of Excellence, and St. Luke's Chapel. ECH also provides short-term rehabilitation therapy, as well as family and community support groups and services. 


    The primary purpose of this position is to fulfill the day-to-day central supply function of the Episcopal Church Home Facilities in accordance with current acceptable accounting and cost reimbursement principles relating to long-term care operations. The position also works in other department as requested.



    • Purchases supplies for various departments according to their needs and usage using par levels as a guideline.
    • Stocks supplies at designated nursing units.
    • Monitors par levels of stock.
    • Performs physical inventory of Central Supply Stock.
    • Receives deliveries and checks contents of boxes against packing slips.
    • Ensures supplies and equipment are properly maintained in a safe, orderly and clean manner.
    • Processes invoices for payment, coding appropriately.
    • Maintains the Central Supply software system with accurate resident information.
    • Data enters all resident charges and prepares the month end resident billing file for uploading into the accounting software.


    • Must possess, as a minimum, a high school education or its equivalent
    • Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to assure that the requirements of this position can be fully met
    • Must be able to read, write, speak, and communicate effectively in the English language
    • Must function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively and harmoniously with other personnel
    • Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 50 pounds on a regular basis, and over 100 pounds occasionally
