We are currently seeking candidates for an exciting opportunity for a Compliance Specialist on our Affordable Living team. The primary purpose of the position is to ensure compliance with all HUD and LIHTC regulations throughout the ERS Affordable Living program. The role is responsible for file reviews in accordance with ERS policies and procedures and with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations. The full-time position will work as the Compliance Specialist for the Cincinnati region of Affordable Living communities.

•Must possess COS and SHCM certifications
•High school / GED required
•Must have previous affordable housing manager experience and COS, SCHM or equivalent designations. Previous experience with HUD and Tax Credits a must.
•Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in the English language and follow written/oral instructions.
•Must possess sight/hearing senses, or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of this position can be fully met.
•Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
•Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, and push up to 25 pounds or a regular basis, stand and move intermittently throughout the work day.
•Must have the flexibility and ability to travel regionally, in addition, the ability to do occasional over night travel; reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
•Must function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively and harmoniously with other personnel.
•Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and general public.
