The Trainer, Human Resources is a great opportunity for a candidate with an education or training delivery background, and who is looking for a part-time position, in the Hyde Park / Fairfax area. The position is 16 hours each week, (which includes Wednesdays, plus an additional day or two half days).
The primary purpose of this position is to teach and lead engaging, experiential and inspirational learning opportunities for team members working in senior services; to coordinate meaningful learning programs; and to ensure team members are equipped to deliver superior service. The Trainer will teach New Employee Orientation and provide a warm welcome to new ERS team members with an emphasis on culture. In addition, the role will coordinate and facilitate annual education programs through a partnership with organizational subject matter experts. The Trainer will strive to develop workforce effectiveness to enable ERS to achieve its strategic goals.

Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Education or related field required
Three to five years of experience in teaching, training delivery, group facilitation, organizational learning & development, program development and implementation of new educational programs required
The ability to demonstrate effective training program delivery; excellent teaching skills
